One version I know of (based on an early release: 2.0 or 3.0) does run on os9/6809 level 1. It does have it's limitations: single window single buffer, maximum file size about 16k. (Level 2 could probably up this to 24k or more.) This doesn't answer the original request of one for cpm-80, especialy since z80 code is probably 50% bigger than 6809 code. (If you can find a heavily optimizing C compiler it might not be any bigger. I've never heard of one that can handle all the quirks of a z80 though.)
