Hi,

I'm trying to install v18.39 (emacs hasn't been installed here before).
I'm on a CCI Power 6/32, which I understand is also known as a tahoe, so
I used m-tahoe.h and s-bsd4-2.h.  When I run build-install I get the following:

Symbol's value as variable is void: *

Which sounds a lot like the insufficient swapping space error described in
PROBLEMS and INSTALL.  As far as I can tell, I should have plenty of swap
space available.  How can I verify how much I have?  Is there anything else
that can cause this error?
