Is there a newer version of GDB that compiles on a wider variey of machines? I am primarily interested in a 3B2 running USG5.X. 2. There's a function in simple.el called blink-matching-open which I think is at the heart of your cursing jumping back to the matching open {brace, bracket, parenthesis} or printing the matching line at the bottom of the screen. I would like to map that function to a key and use it myself other than when I happen to be typing a }, ], or ), and I can't seem to do it. When I "C-h k" and ask about it a familiar description appears, but when I "M-x blink-matching-open" the [No Match] message appears. So I can't seem to even use the function--let alone trying to map it to a key. Any ideas? -- Aaron Akman (201) 957-2751 mtuni!aaa
