Or at least there must be. For the Kaypro 2, 4 and 10 there is a program called Perfect Writer that looks *AMAZINGLY* like uEmacs. In fact, I knew about Perfect Writer before I knew about uEmacs. I was surprised to find the same (almost) program. PW is a commercial product. I'm not sure about the legallities of this are, whether whoever wrote uEMacs was asked first (hence the copyright notice at the beginning of the 3.8[bf] documentation??). Anyway, PW runs on a Z-80 CPM machine in under 64k with multiple buffers, windows, etc. I am an unwilling expert on it (my mother is writing a history dissertation on it!). So it is possible. My question is: in the uEmacs we just got (I have it for the ST, and it's labelled 3.8f), there is a document called EMACS1.MSS. This was formatted for a program that is *VERY* much like the one in Perfect Writer. They both use the at sign (@) in front of commands, etc. What formatter is this? Is it in the Public Domain or Shareware or Free? I am very interested, I would much rather print from the ST than the Kaypro.
