Has anyone come up with a .joverc to make Jove act more like GNU
emacs?  I would like Jove to have the same key bindings as Gnu, as
well as some oter things such as the mode line formatted correctly.

If anyone has written a .joverc for this purpose, please forward
it to me.  If I don't get one, I will end up writting one myself.
