Island Graphics live in New York.  They do all their work
 on a Sun.

Use WaveFront Graphics.  They do VERY good work and everybody
 (including Lucus) run their software on the machines of choice.

WaveFront producing VERY good images but they need real machines to
 do it on.  As far as I know,  to do real animation is about
 a $250K project.  Cheap considering that some Graphics
 housing charge $300K per minute..:-)
