It seems that the number one choice is Marc Rochind's "Advanced UNIX Programming" (Prentice Hall, ISBN 0-13-011800-1). Some other suggestions where: AT&T UNIX System V Release 3 Programmer's guide chapter 9 (about 100 pages) Programing in C by Stephen G. Kocha The Net Person stated "is a good beginners book, though it doesn't address PC specific problems." Internetworking with XINU by Doug Comer Prentice Hall ISBN-0-13-637414-X I have not read any of these books YET. Therefore, I am not able to give a review on them.
