My posting was based on trying to mail the UK from MILNET sometime towards the end of last year (in some earlier incarnation of myself). I too tried using smart mailers and interrogating network databases to no avail. Using ucl-cs was a shot in the dark which worked! I must assume that either this is a recent feature, or the host name records have not reached MILNET. Can anyone clarify? Brian. -- -- > Brian Tompsett.
