I didn't think anything of it until a friend of mine who is a computer operator said he had been having trouble making system backups because of tape write errors. I said, "You aren't using 3M Blackwatch tapes, are you?" And he said, "How did you know?" His problem is to convince his superiors that the tapes are bad. I told him I would print out all the relevant articles from comp.misc to help him corroborate his story, only to find out that they had already expired on our system. So my question to the net is, is there someone who has archived these articles and would be willing to e-mail them to me?
