In the absence of any obviously relevant newsgroup for this subject I
am posting this to comp.misc and news.groups in the hope of someone
either responding or suggesting a more appropriate newsgroup for this
subject.

Matrix Management was a hot management topic in the 1960's and 70'. I
am studying for an MBA. One of my assignments is to look at Matrix
Management.  There must be some people on the network who are working
within Matrix organisations or have done so in the past.

What do you think of it?  I'd like to hear about the organisations that
had a lot of Matrix publicity 10 to 15 years ago. I have in mind such
companies such as Dow, Hughes, Rockwell, TRW etc. Are you still using
Matrix? If not was it a conscious decision to abandon it or did it just
slip away quietly?
