Belles) Distribution: world Organization: Avalon One Lines: 24 I am looking for a program that will preferably not be unneccessarily BIOS- dependent, but will copy differing soft-sectored and/or hard-sectored disks. This program by preference be some sort of program that assigns a logical drive with a physical drive and a non-standard format, ie if I have 2 disks, I should be able to say disk C = Kaypro, physical disk B (01). It should also be able to be loaded and left, so that I could run programs like NEWSWEEP to go between the disks. I assume all this would take relocatable modules to work effectively. A big preference would be something to go between 2 or more disk formats, as I am the intermediary between a Kaypro in Bath, England and a AMD Super Six system running a newsletter here in San Diego, CA., due to having both 8" and 5" drives on my system. One further note: the ability to add disk types based on either analysis or examination of the disk specs would be a real bonus, as I doubt many commercial programs have CCS 8"/5", AMD 8", Superbrain 5", etc. disk types. Anybody know of such a program to reccommend, and could I get an idea of price, quality, dealers, etc.? The primary application would be to swap information and development work between S-100 and odd no-longer-supported CP/M-based computers. TIA, -- Kevin J.
