It initializes a serial port on a Xerox 820, I think. Obviously, it is of little use on a PC or clone, other than for trying out your favorite editor/assembler/linker. I have used Z80MU on a clone, and had good luck with it. Things like USQ, DELBR, LU310 all seem to work well. The only change I notice is that it is ***SLOW***. I'm glad to see that it is available on SIMTEL20. It is a very nice piece of pd software. ---Roger Hanscom--
