I read on this news group some talk about needing a PC/IX system to be able to rebuild a kernel. Is that true? I just received the disks for minix and after looking through it, I see some makefiles for rebuilding minix under PC/IX, minix, and MSDOS using the CI86 compiler. Has anybody done it under minix? My minix disks are labeled version 1.1, do I have an newer release maybe? Has anybody tried minix with an RLL controller? Thanks, Tom Ford Convex Computer Corp. ...!convex!tford
