I received MINIX Binaries and Sources late last week.  I have successfully
brought it up on my PC 6300.  The configuration includes a color monitor,
10 MB hard disk, and 640 KB RAM.  Dosread, dosdir, and doswrite all work fine.
The only problem I'm having right now is the hard disk.

I assembled diskfix.asm, and ran it to partition the disk (cyl 0-144 are
MS-DOS, cyl 145-305 are non-DOS).  I tried to mkfs /dev/hd2 5440 and got
a put_block (or something similar) error.

Has anyone else had experience on the 6300?
