I finally received my copy of the Minix sources.  It took no time at all
to find the first bug.  The printer driver doesn't work with my printer
(Epson FX-80 on a Compaq).  I just looked up the patches, and I will try
to rebuild the printer process.

I have two questions:

1) Can the printer task be rebuilt & installed without having to rebuild
the whole system?  If so, how?

2) Whatever happened to the reported new version of asld that supports split
I/D segments?  If I have to rebuild Minix, I don't want a bigger, slower
system.

Also, I am considering buying a hard disk card.  Anyone who has used Minix
with a hard disk card, please send me a report of your experiences.  I will
summarize to the net.
