I was thinking of transfer of user files from one system to another,
in which case the destination is often not the same as the spool
directory ( assuming that you allow transfers to directories other
than uucppublic ).

You can all stop sending me mail pointing out that most uucp is for
mail and news, which usually ends up on the same filesystem as
the spool directory.
