Lines: 18 Boy, am I cheap. I want a free 8048 cross-assembler -- it doesn't deserve any more than that! Have you been holding onto one, and not distributing it because you were ashamed that it was written in Fortran? I don't care! So what if it's "grody to the max": it is better than hand assembly, and faster than rolling my own.
