I've finally gathered enough money together to pick up a long-awaited memory expansion for my Amiga.. I've seen lots of talk here regarding hardware from different vendors, but haven't been able to draw any conclusions .. (Reading AmigaWorld doesn't seem to help, either). Could someone throw together a short comparison of the memory expansions that are available, highlighting such features as: 1) Speed (wait states, etc..) 2) Bus Pass-thru 3) Future Expandability (e.g. comes with 512K, expandable to 2mb, plus other add-ons like battery-backup clocks, etc..) 4) Design of Cabinet (I've seen some LARGE and UGLY Expansion cabinets. Yuk.) 5) Cost 6) Personal difficulties with 1) Apathetic Vendors 2) Setup 3) Reliability 7) The best place to order one (i.e. Amigaworld advertisers, the vendor, local dealer..) The biggies here are: 1, 2, and 3.
