When this discussion about 3.5 inch drives got started several people recommended the Universal Disk controller card and the 3.5's from Central Point Software. Somewhere along the line someone said that the UDC did not fit in the //gs case. I tried this out and my UDC fits fine. Has anyone else had problems? Was there an older model of this card that didn't fit? My impression of the //gs case was that it was larger than the //e case (no slope in front). The only complaint I've heard is that there is more room behind the card, between the back edge of the card and the back of the case. This evidently allows some small cards like parallel printer cards to be inserted backwards, ie with the chips facing the power supply. This could be a problem for new users. Anyone had such a problem or heard of one like this? Rick Fincher ranger@ecsvax all that disclaimer stuff...
