I am at that stage, as a //e owner, where I am SERIOUSLY considering acquiring a //GS and selling off my ol'faithfull //e. I am also very concerned about the compatibility of my current software with the new //GS. I hope to keep at least 95% of my current //e software operational, especially my CP/M stuff. I also own WordPerfect for the //e but suspect that I would have no trouble using it on a //GS (thought the dictionary is smaller -- oh and while I'm at it... does WordPerfect Corp. offer upgrades to the //e software so that you can obtain the //GS software?) What types of software written for the ][, ][+, and //e WON'T work on the //GS. Any knowledgeable persons out there who have comments PLEASE reply.. I'm pretty sure that I want to buy the //GS and sell my //e but any comments about the upgrade would be appreciated as well. thanx all. -- Peter Godwin | ...ihnp4!gargoyle!sphinx!god3 Univ. of Chicago Comp Ctr | x9.xpg@uchicago 5824 S.
