So far, even most of the copy-protected software boots and appears to run okay, although in several instances I couldn't boot it directly but had to "pre-boot" some other software, e.g. Penguin's Transylvania double-res, first. I don't know why this would help, but my guess is that it sets some soft switches that are just ASSUMED by the difficult software. I have found a few games that I can't get to run on the IIGS at all. I'll post a list of what worked and what didn't when I finish my investigation.
