I knew that I could get it for $39.95 COD but I didn't want to wait for mail to get there and did not want to call long distance...So I did the most practical, state-of-the-art thing, I sent mail directly to David Young, via Bitnet. This worked real well because I asked him a couple of questions first and then after receiving the answers (via Bitnet) I decided to order. This process took about a day, which is not bad for sending two letters and replies each. I have had no problems with my Omniview 256 except that the free terminal program, Omniterm, does not work with my xm301... This brings me to the real purpose of this posting. If XM301's have been out for over a year now and have been fairly well received then why do I have trouble finding programs that will work with it? Every program that I want to use (except 1030 Express!, which I love dearly) will not work with it without some hard-to-find T: handler. This problem is further worsened by my desire to Telecommunicate in 80 columns with my new Omniview. help! F1.GDM @ ISUMVS. BITNET
