I normally run OMNIVIEW for all operations on my 800XL, and as I recall, I used vt10sq freely with it with no difficulties, switching to CDY's free OmniTerm program for downloading files, since VT10SQ does not support that sort of thing. I don't know why a 130XE with OMNIVIEW should fail to work right with vt10sq. In fact, I would think you would have to run the TRANSLATOR DISK to get vt10sq to work at all with a standard 130XE but you would NOT need the translator disk to run it with OMNIVIEW. However, all of my OMNIVIEW experience has been with an 800XL with Newell 256KXL upgrade. -John Sangster
