No Jim, it was not a port of GNU EMACS, but a version of MicroEmacs made to be command compatible with GNU. The real GNU EMACS is much bigger and has a lot more functionality. It will probably be a while before we see it on an Atari. I am still waiting for Epsilon to be available for the ST. It is a commercial EMACS that has been around for PC-DOS for a few years and has been getting rave reviews on the net. Does anyone know who makes it? /Leif
