A new, improved version of MicroGnuEmacs (mg1b) is almost ready to go out
the door.  This is mostly a bug fix release, the major new feature being
the ability to bind the function keys from your startup file.  We are also
trying to improve the documentation (this being why things are taking a
little longer than originally anticipated).  I don't know the details of 
how Mike Meyer is going to arrange for making the sources generally 
available, but I will post a binary at least.

I have heard that the copy of MG1.ARC in the info-atari archives on su-score
might be corrupted.  I suggest waiting for the new release if you've been
thinking about ftp'ing a copy.
