[] I would second Simon's call for a 68881 socket on the blitter add-on. Of course, that would not work if the blitter is just a chip and is simply piggy-backed on the 68000. That was one of the rumored ways the blitter attaches. And a great way to botch the blitter _and_ the ST, if you goof the soldering job... Atari: if you want to shoot yourself in the foot, sell the Mega-ST with the 68000 soldered-in instead of in a socket. "Loose chips sink ships," but look at what the Amiga people are doing with their socketed CPU's! - Moshe Braner PS: With the DMA port, the ST can send a 'dumb' laser printer the complete 300dpi bitmap for the whole page in about 1 second.
