Gibson) Organization: TRW EDS, Redondo Beach, CA Lines: 21 S & S Wholesalers Inc Strike Again. I have had three encounters with S & S Wholesalers: two successful and my one unsuccessful. I successfully purchased my color system and software from them. However, 2 weeks ago I ordered a hard disk. After it did not arrive, I called. They told me the only drive they had in stock was defective. They must have know this for 2 weeks. Apparently, they did not care enough to tell me. I told the manager that S & S has a reputation for bad service on the Atari net. The good part is, hard drive prices have drop about $30 in 2 weeks. I ordered a drive from CMO. He said he would send it by air and it would arrive on Wednesday ( I ordered on late Friday). BTW, I believe a buyer can negoiate a better price if he pays COD with a Cashier's Check. That is because seller's must pay a credit card surcharge that is past on to the buyer. Gregory Gibson gibson@trwrb.UUCP
