   I received a phone call from a friend who had just read a letter from
Atari, announcing the release of the Mega-ST. He quoted that letter as saying
that the 2-Meg Mega-ST (whatever they call it) with laser printer would be
about $US 5000. Perhaps he mistakenly quoted a $CAN price as $US (I hope).

   Could somebody out in net land provide more information on pricing for
these machines? I'd be interested in buying one if its not outrageously
more expensive than the 1040 I already own.
