 One can consider me as another victim of the 40 folders war!!

However, i use a rev. 8 AHDI program. The problem has appeared when, after
a session of 7 or 8 hours, i began to uuencode a program to archive it later
on my mainframe.

Note: I format the HD using non standard partition sizes. (ie: 7 + 7 + 3 + 3)
When the problem appeared, i had about 80 folders on the disk.

the symptoms are:

- E partition (games) is unreadable (silly caracters as file or folder name ,
                                     size of space used extravagant ).

- SHOW INFO completly fool. inside box format desorganized.

- RETURNING to the desk after executing program (i try several ones), make
  the buttons of the mouse inoperable.

 So, i spent  near one day making backup and now i am ready to reformat it.
Is there anything to do to advance capturing the problem ?. Any aid will be
welcome. Maybe a little utility which will dump certain sectors of the 
hard disk?

I'll going to reformat it next monday or tuesday. So i would like to know
if someone has experiment GEMBOOT ? Can it be useful for me  and may i 
include it in the future ??
