Lines: 21 I just received the v. 3.00 upgrade from TDI for my Modula-2 developer's kit and am upset about it. It won't even compile the demo programs correctly, and several of us are getting persistent "...reverse address..." error messages and crashes from the linker. The code in question has generally compiled under v. 2, and you can generally force it to compile by using the debug option, but this leads to ridiculously large code. However, it confirms that the programs in question are OK. I should add that some changes have been made, usually to track changes in the standard. For example, CASE BOOLEAN OF for variant records without the colon is no longer valid. If users email bug reports to me I will repost them and forward them to TDI. Also of course, you should be writing TDI directly. -- Bill Silvert, Modelling/Statistics Group Bedford Institute of Oceanography, Dartmouth, NS, Canada CDN or BITNET: silvert@cs.dal.cdn -- UUCP: ..!{seismo|utai}!dalcs!silvert ARPA: silvert%dalcs.uucp@seismo.CSS.GOV -- CSNET: silvert%cs.dal.cdn@ubc.csnet
