The ST has a "glass terminal" built in to its innards which (pretty much)
emulates a VT52.  If capabilities such as clearing the screen, positioning
the cursor, changing text colors, etc., are what you have in mind, let me
know and I'll send you a set of macro definitions which make these things
quite easy to use.
