Comp. Ctr. Lines: 14 HELP! I am having a serious problem with my C-64 and would appreciate some troubleshooting help. After being on (from power-up) between 5 and 10 minutes the screen fills with garbage and I lose all interaction. I checked with my troubleshooting manual and the closest case they have is garbage on power-up. My bet is that the chip that controls the interrupt routine may be overheating causing the CPU to lose it but I really have no idea. If any one can suggest either what the problem may be and where to get the replacement part from or where to send it (for a reasonable) price to have them repair it for me. I would prefer to repair it myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Brandon. -- Life is a dirty joke, and I'm waiting for the punchline.
