I am looking for a package which emulates VMS system calls on a non-VMS
system.  Information about the existence of such a package, written in any
high-level language (C preferred) for any target system (UNIX preferred),
available at any price (well, almost any price), would be much appreciated.

Failing specific information on such a package, any kind words regarding
the feasibility (or lack thereof) of such an endeavour would also be
appreciated.

If, as is likely the case, others would also like this information,
I will collect the responses (if any) and post a summary in a few weeks.
