I have been using a product called Family Roots put out by a company
called Quinsept. I have been using their Apple version, but I believe
they also have it available for the IBM pc.

It has gone through several revisions, and has acquired lots of
tunable features that probably appeal to someone who is serious
about it.

around $200, as I recall.
