I have an Amazing Thing Modem (Hayes Compatible) installed in COM2:. BITCOM and KERMIT work just fine, but SIDEKICK does nothing. SKINST has been run and set to COM2:. As per SIDEKICK'S instructions I've tried to run "MODE COM2: 1200,(bits I can't remember)." I keep getting back a "INVALID PARAMETER: COM2" message. I've tried it with COM1: (my printer) and it works fine. As I said, I know COM2: is there because I can use it with other programs. I haven't been able to find any reference to this problem in my DOS or AT manuals. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx, ..!elsie!mark -- Dr. Mark J.
