That is, I want the card in PC #1 to send data that looks like keyboard input data to the KEYBOARD INPUT CONNECTOR at the back of PC #2. All this has to be done, such that PC #2 thinks there is just a keyboard attached to it rather than a PC. (Diagram given below.) Has anyone heard of a card or setup that might be able to do this? If not, can anyone direct me to information that would explain the keyboard architecture and protocols. I already have the XT and AT Technical Reference manuals that I can work through, but it would be better if someone knew of a book with at title like "So -- You Want to Build a Keyboard". :-) Thanks. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan Solis dan@mirror.TMC.COM {mit-eddie, ihnp4, wjh12, cca, cbosgd, seismo}!mirror!dan Mirror Systems, 2067 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, MA 02140 Telephone: (617) 661-0777 ________ ________ | | | | | | | | -------- -------- ______||______ ______||______ | --- | | --- | __| PC #1 |---------------| PC #2 | | -------------- /\ -------------- | ______________ || --|::::::::::::| || -------------- || || cable attached to || keyboard input connector of PC #2.
