I've booted and run Level II OS-9 successfully with the *original* Radio Shack disk controller (yes, the very first series!) as well as the latest disk controller (the short stubby one). I haven't tried it with the Disto controller yet because I'm taking my Disto apart for modification(s), but I have no doubt that it'll work. There's no reason why you should have a problem with the 2 mHz. if you're controller is within spec.
