Ymodem and Zmodem are spinoff's of Xmodem and attempt to correct various problems, the major one being the fact that Xmodem always rounds the file up to the next 128 byte block. They are supposedly upward compatible from Xmodem. (e.g. Xmodem can't receive Ymodem, buy Ymodem can receive Xmodem) -Matt
