I bought a "standard" RS-232 cable, and hooked up the serial port (COM1) on my i/o board to the printer. I used the MODE command to set up port: mode com1:96,n,7,1,p Doesn't respond at all to print attempts, but get error message that there are errors on the line, and the device may be off-line. Has anyone successfully got this set-up to work??? I will buy first successful suggester a beverage of their choice (within reason, sorry, no Dom Perignon!) Steve Johnson
