Try taking it back to your dealer. We've had quite a few 128s and 512s upgraded here (the one I'm typing this on, for example), and don't have this problem. And we always use the reset/interrupt switch; most of our machines are public access and get crashed by users quite regularly. (PCs and Macs both).
