Try this. Build yourself a piece of letterhead. Define first page special in the section. open the first page header. Write a aragraph of text. Write a second paragraph of text, right justified. Select each paragraph, and turn on side-by-side in the paragraph dialog. It doesn't work. This works fine in the main window, but not in the headers. (no, the two paragraphs don't overwrite each other, either. Two paragraphs of one character each still refuse to go side by side). Mutter.
