Message-ID: <5898@pur-ee.UUCP> Date: Sat, 4-Apr-87 11:04:57 EST Article-I.D.: pur-ee.5898 Posted: Sat Apr 4 11:04:57 1987 Date-Received: Sun, 5-Apr-87 12:42:02 EST Reply-To: mckay@pur-ee.UUCP (Dwight D McKay) Organization: Electrical Engineering Department , Purdue University Lines: 15 With the arrival of the Mac II, I'm considering purchasing a Mac II and laser printer. Should I get a LaserWriter (and have some money left over for software, etc.) or a LaserWriter Plus? Are/will Plus upgrades be available in the future? The extra couple of hundred dollars in the initial purchase price is the question. I hope to upgrade in a year or two if I go the LaserWriter route. Any suggestions on Mac II configurations for folks hoping to run A/UX? Are there any big SCSI disks for Mac II's available yet? --Dwight Mckay, ECN Text & Workstation Software Support [arpanet: mckay@ee.ecn.purdue.edu, usenet: ...ihnp4!pur-ee!mckay] [Compu-serve: 75776,1521, office: EE 348B, phone: (317) 494-3561]
