Wetter) Organization: Calfornia Institute of Technology Lines: 23 Keywords: Mac Just started my job as mac consultant today ( i.e. I'm responsible for answering mac questions from the users of our mac lab). First Task: Set up an appleshare network. Comments: AppleShare is an exceptional product. I was throughly impressed with the quality and transparency of its software. Apple really did a good job with their network administration software. The software manages to handle the complicated tasks associated with network maintenence in a truly mac-like fashion (in order to move users into a group you drag them from the user window to the group window, and vice versa). Way to go Apple! (even if you didn't hire me for a summer job) If someone were to ask me for a short cut to sensuality, I would suggest he go shopping for a used 427 Shelby-Cobra. But it is only fair to warn you that of the 300 guys who switched to them in 1966, only two went back to women. -- Mort Sahl -------------------------------------------- wetter@tybalt.caltech.edu --------------------------------------------
