I am no longer at Berkeley and I had to get my affairs in order. Please accept my apologies here since I have approximately 200 unanswered pieces of mail. The good news is that work continues on Common TeX. -- It will now run with 64bit memory cells which implies no limit on the heap size. -- A half dozen bug fixes (including a correct dvi generator). -- Spelling and grammatical errors removed. -- Completely retyped so that I now support the IBM PC AT. Yes, turn your PC/AT into your Personal CAT! The Compaq 386 we have here running TeX is quite satisfactory. Also a 10 Mhz AT clone is acceptable. If you would like to receive information about Common TeX on the IBM PC, please address all correspondence to Pat Monardo softsmarts, inc 299 California Ave, #205 Palo Alto, CA 94306
