Does anyone know how to emulate the troff ".mc |" command in latex?
In troff it places the given margin character out to the right on each
successive line until the command ".mc" with no argument character
shuts it off.  Using the character "|" results in change bars showing
where recently altered text is to be found in a document.  Latex is
much more powerful than troff, but I haven't been able to figure out
how to get this feature.
