I was thinking we might be able to start some kind of discussion of usful C-shell aliases, etc. Anyhow, if not, quick, Jeeves, my asbestos undershorts ! alias @ 'alias \!:1 cd `pwd`' What this lets you do is make a 'mark' in a directory and then return to it instantly. If you are in /tmp and type "@ tmp" it will expand to alias "tmp" to "cd /tmp".
