We have just put up ULTRIX on a VAX 8650 and are using som TU78's
which were connected to two other machines. We have one master drive by itself
then we have an additional master drive with two slaves for a total of 4 drives.

Listed below is the part of the configuration file that pertain to the tapes:

controller      mba0  at  nexus  ?
master          mt0  at   mba0  drive 0
tape            mu0  at    mt0  slave 0
master          mt1  at   mba0  drive 1
tape            mu1  at    mt1  slave 0
tape            mu2  at    mt1  slave 1
tape            mu3  at    mt1  slave 2

At boot time the system lists out the correct configuration according
to the above list.

Now our problem is that when we try to access them we can only access the first
drive as /dev/rmt8 and drive 3 (the second drive on mt1) as /dev/rmt9.
