Science, Uni of Sydney, Australia Lines: 20 I am looking for a file archiving system for UNIX, similar to that available on TOPS-20. The idea is that users queue up requests like "archive this file [and optionally remove it when done]" and "retrieve these files". Sometime later an operator runs the program to process the requests, it tells the operator which tapes to mount, and it all happens. That's the basic idea. If anyone knows of any software at all along those lines, public-domain, commercial or whatever (vendors are invited to reply), then please send me mail; please DON'T post followups. If I receive any replies I will summarize to the net. Thanks very much.
