With regard to Ultrix, I called DEC Tech. Support. Their answer was: - on use the 'date' command to advance the time 1 hour. It will say PST (or whatever) instead of PDT (or whatever). - on use the 'date' command to set back the time 1 hour. It will then show daylight savings time correctly. In other words, "ctime fix? we don't got no stinking ctime fix!" :-) Sorry for the verbose message, but we need filler for inews.
