The login sequest has few extra step before "login" and "password". The problem is that there is more than one token typed on the same line, eg: host remote host remote "c " onnect *mysystem trashtrash trashtrash login: user password: mypassword (note above 'c' is followed by a space, thus it is a space rather than a carriage return that is the terminator. It is a situation with a blank in the host input I was trying to set this up using SCO's XENIX. After being unable to accomplish this I called SCO and I was told that the current version of uucp does not handle this type of a situation. Have some of you gone through this exercise, and if you've succeeded what is the solution?. Please reply by e-mail. I'll be very greateful. Michael Deutsch.
